| Our "Fly Away Home" Two Wick Enamelware Mug Candle has a natural herbal blend that will repel mosquitoes & pesty bugs. It is NOT made with citronella, so it actually smells pleasant. It is a strong blend of herbs & the recipe was stumbled upon by me years ago from an Herbal Remedy Book.
We have also discovered that when burnt inside the house, it will cut the odor from cooking strong smelling foods like fish, or when your house smells like a wet dog on a rainy day (we encounter that one often).
We make more & more each year, so we feel strongly that we aren't the only one's who feel it works well. Enjoy it on your patio in a storage jar to keep the drafts away & it can be the centerpiece on your picnic table. We burn it even during the day to cut the flies & gnats, as well as a night with the mosquitoes.
The enamelware container is made out of metal that has the paint "cooked" on, similar to the way pottery is fired to glaze it. You can use the mug for many things when you are done with the candle.
