Our Peppermint Skates and Hot Chocolate Candle blends creamy vanilla, natural peppermint, and a soft hint of chocolate into a dreamy winter fragrance. No one note stands out too strongly, yet together they create the perfect cozy blend. It smells like a winter afternoon spent skating, followed by a hot chocolate date with someone special.
The scent has a fun history. Years ago, we poured a chocolate mint candle. Later, we switched to a vanilla mint candle for a fresh twist. Many customers loved that change, but some missed the chocolate. Because of that, we decided to blend all three together. The combination turned into something better than either original fragrance. It quickly became a seasonal favorite, and Amy’s mom even came up with the charming name.
The vintage-style folk art label shows an old-fashioned white ice skate resting beside a steaming mug of cocoa, surrounded by holly greens. It captures that nostalgic feeling of chilly fingertips, frosty air, and warm drinks shared with friends. That moment inspired the entire fragrance and the artwork.
Every jar is hand poured in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We use our exclusive blend of 95% pure soy wax with 5% high-end coconut wax, which produces an even, clean burn. The wax is poured into a 24 oz “Old Look” Mason jar topped with a vintage-style tin lid. It burns for approximately 110 hours, so you can enjoy the fragrance throughout the Christmas season.
