Our Peppermint Hot Chocolate Candle, officially named Iced Peppermint Skates & Hot Chocolate Dates, blends creamy vanilla, natural peppermint, and a hint of chocolate. No single note overpowers the others. Together they create a cozy winter fragrance that feels like a skate date followed by hot cocoa.
How This Scent Was Created
This fragrance has a fun backstory. Years ago, we poured a chocolate mint candle. Later, we switched to a vanilla mint version for a fresh twist. Customers loved that change, but many missed the chocolate. Because of that, we decided to blend all three notes together. The result was better than either original scent and became an instant Christmas favorite.
Amy’s mom even came up with the charming name. The label features an old-fashioned ice skate, peppermint candies, fresh holly, and a mug of cocoa. It captures the feeling of rosy cheeks and warm hands after skating outside in the cold.
Hand Poured in Lancaster County
Every candle is hand poured in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We use our exclusive blend of 95% pure soy wax and 5% high-end coconut wax. This extra-large candle holds 64 oz of wax and has two evenly spaced wicks for an even burn.
It is poured into our classic half-gallon “Centerpiece Jar.” This size will burn for at least 300 hours. It easily scents large rooms, open floor plans, or holiday gatherings.
The Perfect Holiday Centerpiece
Many customers use the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Candle as a Christmas centerpiece. It offers both fragrance and a warm double flame that creates instant ambiance. It also pairs beautifully with Winter Star Dust or Old Santa Cinnamon for a festive, layered scent experience.
We have poured this blend in many sizes over the years, but the half-gallon remains the most impressive. It throws farther, lasts longer, and always becomes a conversation piece. The Peppermint Hot Chocolate Candle continues to be one of our most requested winter scents every year.
