These breakaway clamshell wax melts smell just like our Liberty Bug Repellent candles. They are perfect for trying a new scent at an affordable price or giving as small gifts.
Unlike traditional citronella products, Liberty Bug Repellent has a fresh herbal fragrance instead of a strong chemical smell. We blend peppermint, clove, eucalyptus, geranium, and a touch of orange using a recipe inspired by an old herb book I discovered years ago.
These Liberty Bug Repellent Wax Melts work wonderfully in kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, campers, and porches. They are also ideal for places where you cannot burn a candle but still want long-lasting fragrance. Many customers enjoy using them to help freshen cooking odors or even that familiar wet dog smell after a rainy summer day.
Each package contains 2.4 ounces of soy blend wax with six easy breakaway cubes. Each cube generally lasts about 12–18 hours depending on the brightness and heat of your tart warmer bulb.
There are many tart warmers available, but we especially recommend warmers made by Irvin’s Tinware, a wonderful Pennsylvania company known for handcrafted tin designs.
